As mentioned, the winners of each category will receive their jerseys in the post very soon, and I’d like to thanks Ken Jones and Chris Spencer at Onimpex Bioracer for their continued support of the series and the supply of these fantastic jerseys.I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers and their army of helpers of all the races this year, as they were asked to promote an event at the height of the pandemic when it was completely unclear when racing would be allowed to resume and all their hard work could easily have been for nothing, I for one am very grateful to them all.
EFGH&W riders still have one more round to go, at the Harrold Nelson Memorial at Darleymoor on the 3rd October. Entries are still open on RiderHQ and there are also races for all categories on the day.
And finally, I’m working on building the series back up to 6 to 8 rounds for the 2022 season, so if you or your club either already host a race that you think would make a great addition to the series, or you are thinking of hosting a round please either PM me through FaceBook or drop me an e mail at: email@example.com
The Ron Day MK bowl circuit races (sponsored by Church Lane Creative). Week 6 – 27th July 2021Thanks to everyone that came to support this event tonight. The weather was kind (unlike last week), raining before and after the race.Racing was inside the bowl (putting safety first on damp roads) with a small bunch in the ABCD seeing Gavin Howell stringing the race out from the gun, riding away, only to be brought back and then attacking again, this time taking 3 other riders with him and splitting the race in half. Gavin eventually won off the front on his own, lapping the second half of his race in the final laps. The EFGW race stayed together most of the evening finishing in a bunch sprint. Well done everyone, great safe racing.Thank you to all the marshals that turned up to help tonight, an easy evening for helpers with the race staying inside the bowl, but we appreciated you giving up your evening. Results can be found at:-https://results.sporthive.com/events/PC1890822
The Ron Day MK bowl circuit races (sponsored by Church Lane Creative). Week 2 – 15th June 202170 riders raced tonight across 2 races on a perfect warm and sunny night. With thanks to a huge team of helpers who turned up at 5pm, we managed to organise the course so the race could go out the gate half way through, which always lead to a more exciting race.A few unsuccessful break aways, lead to a strong bunch sprint win in both races.Well done to everyone who rode, it was great to have 4 ladies competing tonight also. A massive thank you to all the valued helpers and our sponsor Mark Bicknell of Church Lane Creative. If you have not put your name down to help, please contact me to arrange an evening, if everyone helps once, we can run every week sucessfully. Please remember the event closes on RiderHQ at 4pm on the Monday before the event. Parking must only be to the right when you enter the bowl for safety reasons. NO ONE is to cross the racing line while the races are still in progress.Full results can be found on:-
