The Ron Day MK bowl circuit races (sponsored by Church Lane Creative). Week 10 – 24th August 2021

A good turn out for tonights racing on another lovely sunny dry night. We have been blessed with the weather this year.

My favourite circuit, starting on the green and going out the gates on the large circuit from the gun.

ABCD race was very fast and competitive with many attacks ending in a group of 6 away that split into 3 each in the closing laps followed by a bunch sprint for 7th place.

EFGW race had some great attemps at riders breaking away, but all were brought back for a bunch sprint at the end. Great to see another 4 ladies riding tonight.

Well done all the riders and winners.

Prize money for the races to date and next weeks event will be distributed next week after the race. If you think you have won some money and can’t come please get a team mate to collect your money or contact me to let me know so I can arrange a BACS payment to you.

Huge thank you to tonights helpers and thank you to everyone who has helped and supported these events. It has been great to be back and watch you all suffer (I mean race) every week, there is nothing quite like watching old men and ladies playing out on their bikes
