On an overcast, windy evening 24 riders took the start with EFGH riders given a half lap lead. Both groups stayed together for 4 laps when the junction was made. The first prime was taken by Matt Steel from a still compact bunch. The first break was made by Mark Cain and Jamie Bishop and they manged to get a 20sec lead but after three lap they were all together and then Matt Holmes attacked on his own to take the second prime. He maintained his effort over the next 6 laps and took the win with a 1-30 lead over Matt Steel who had escaped the bunch on the last lap. Paul Spicely took the bunch sprint for 3rd place with Martin Meades being the first EFGH rider in 10th place.
