IMPORTANT RENEWAL NOTICE FOR MYLAPS TRANSPONDER USERS
PLEASE CHECK THAT YOUR MYLAPS TRANSPONDER WILL NOT EXPIRE BEFORE YOU NEED TO USE IT FOR THE 2020 SEASON.
If it has expired (if you brought a year’s membership last year) then please can you follow the instructions in the attached document to renew it.
You must do this before the first race that you want to ride which uses the transponders. This is:- THE PERCY STALLARD TOUR OF ASTWOOD ON SUNDAY THE 19TH APRIL 2020. Using your own transponder will save you the £5 hire charge at each race.
MK Bowl Tuesday league starts on Tuesday 28th April 2020 – you cannot ride these events without a transponder.
YOU CANNOT RACE WITH YOUR OWN TRANSPONDER UNLESS IT HAS AN UP TO DATE SUBSCRIPTION AND IS WORKING. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. WE WILL HAVE NO SPARE TRANSPONDERS AT ROAD RACES AND WE ONLY HAVE 5 TRANSPONDERS TO HIRE AT MK BOWL ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
If your RiderHQ account has a transponder number entered into it, please check this is correct. Organisers will see this on your account and therefore not hire you a transponder for the event (no transponder = no ride). This is also the number that will be on the database for the event and therefore place you at the finish. This number must be correct and you must have this transponder connected on your bike on the front forks (either side), and it must be working for EVERY race otherwise you cannot ride.
Again – we do not have any spares for the road races.
