Well that’s a wrap – the last event of the series for 2025. Huge congratulations to our series Winner Gavin Howell who won our Ron Day Memorial Trophy for winning his age category the most in the series.

The point series prizes which were sponsored by the Bikebus:gep-international was presented by the owner Grant Phillips. Huge thanks to Grant for supporting this and giving prizes for the 1st and 2nd placed riders. Again, congratulations to all the winners. Thank you to James Stewart for collating all these numbers for the season.

A huge huge thank you to everyone who has supported these events this year, to all the riders, and to everyone who has helped marshal. Extra special thanks have to go to those people who make these events happen each week, without Paul Bird, Dick Selley, Chris Lundy, Peter Nolan and Rihanna Nolan, I would not be able to run them. I appreciate you all.

Tonights race was our first wet one of the year, how lucky have we been. The rain held off until 4 laps to go, but then made up for it by raining hard. Without any G or H riders we decided to run one race tonight. The bunch mainly stayed together (well done those EF riders), Gavin Howell did an amazing ride, getting back onto the bunch after pulling his foot out on lap 2, he lost about half a lap, but powered round on his own to catch back up on about lap 10. He then went on to win the bunch sprint at the end. Both primes tonight were won by Andy Davies.
