The Ron Day MK Bowl Series – Race 5

Only one helper and a damp course meant racing stayed inside the bowl tonight. We were lucky and the rain threatened but held off for some fast racing tonight.
The ABCD race stayed together until the Gav train finally broke and Gavin Howell rode away to take a strong win, he was followed by lone rider Michael DArcy who jumped the bunch on the last lap to come in second, just ahead of the remaining bunch.
The EFGH race mainly stayed together with a great win by Dean Sibthorpe who also just pipped David Pinckney to win the prime too.
Well done to all our winners and thank you to John Beckett’s wife for being our helper tonight.
Please let me know if you can help over the next two weeks before we have to break for the Bowl concert until 1st July.
