The Ron Day MK Bowl Series – Race 7

The night where it all went wrong! …… but the sun was shinning and the race was a safe one so we are taking the positives.Huge huge thanks to the riders tonight for your help and your patience. It was very appreciated.With enough helpers we ran the race outside the gates from the gun tonight starting on the green (my favourite circuit). A good turn out of riders was great to see. Thank you for supporting.

The ABCD race was fast with the first lap averaging 30mph (so I am told). Gavin Howell rode away from the bunch part way through with Bobby McGlue to stay away with Gav taking the win. The bunch sprint was won by Lewis King just ahead of Michael DArcy. The EFGH race mainly stayed together until the last few laps . The bunch sprint being won by David Pinckney from Dean Sibthorpe with Keith Snook winning the bunch sprint of the second group.

Congratulations to all our winners. Huge thank you to all the helpers tonight and to all the riders who helped set up the course before the event too. It was definitely a go home for a glass of wine night. No racing now for 3 weeks as the circuit is being used for a concert.

The Ron Day MK Bowl Series – Race 6

A windy but dry night tonight staying inside the bowl for some fast and safe racing.
A few riders attempted to get away but all were brought back for bunch sprint finishes. Gavin Howell winning the ABCD race and David Pinckney winning the EFGH race.
Congratulations to all our winners and a huge thank you to our helpers.
I don’t have any helpers yet for next weeks race so would appreciate anyone that can help or bring someone to help please.
